NINJA ASSASSIN Part10

新年、明けましておめでとうございます。本年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
さて、もうすでにご存知のことと思いますが、2009年11月25日（アメリカ時間）にアメリカ、韓国での公開を皮切りに、十数カ国で「NINJA ASSASSIN」が公開されております。ご覧いただけましたでしょうか？日本での公開はまだ先ですが、楽しみに待っていてくださいね。
そして、今回はショープロスタッフが韓国で観た「NINJA ASSASSIN」のレポートです。

Happy New Years to all.
As all of you may know already, curtain on the "NINJA ASSASSIN"
has been drawn on the 25th of November, starting from the US
and the South Korea. Although it is still far from the release in Japan,
please wait patiently! This post is a report from Sho Productions staff
after watching the movie in South Korea.

夕方頃に着いた韓国の空港は寒い寒い・・・。
その日はバスに乗ってホテルへ直行。
そして翌日、いざ明洞の映画館へ。

Korea was even more chilly as we got there, so we went straight to our
hotel on a bus.The next day, we headed for the movie theater in Myongdong.

おわかりになりますでしょうか？建物側面に「NINJA ASSASSIN」の看板を発見！

Do you see it? We found the billboard for "NINJA ASSASSIN"!

初・「NINJA　ASSASSIN」、韓国の映画館ということもありワクワクしながら映画館内を物色。
日本のシネコンと同様の映画館ですね。

As it was the first "NINJA ASSASSIN" being released in Korea, we were
excited and also very curious.
In the end, Korean movie theaters were not much different from Japan's.

写っているのはシアターへの入り口です。さて、それでは中へご案内。
The thing in the picture was a gate to the theater. Let's go in.

真っ赤なシートに真っ赤な壁、すべてが真っ赤かの映画館でした。
11月26日（アメリカ時間25日）、公開初日の一番初回の上映です・・・。
私たちスタッフは気合が入りすぎ、あまりにも早く来すぎてしまったので、
他に観客が１人もいませんでした・・・。シャッターチャンス！とばかりにパシャリ。

韓国の映画CMの目新しさにどきどきしながら上映を待っていると・・・
やがて場内が暗転し、待ちに待った映画が始まりました！
映画の画面を写してしまうと違法になってしまうので、残念ながらこの先の写真はありません。

Red seats and red walls.....everything was red!
We came too early that the theater was still almost empty!
Staffs waited as the theater aired Korean theater commercials.
Finally, the lights were turned off, and the NINJA ASSASSIN was ready to begin!

韓国で観た「NINJA ASSASSIN」の感想は・・・
とにかく勢いがすごい！はじめからおわりまで、気が抜けませんでした。
画面を飛び交う武器とニンジャ、容赦なく飛び散る鮮血、血しぶきの嵐・・・。
刀、鎖、手裏剣がかっこいい！ウォシャウスキー兄弟のCG映像の素晴しさに
ただポ～ッとするばかりです。

"NINJA ASSASSIN"was just amazing!
From the top to the end, we just can't breath, but glue our eyes on the screen.
Swords, chains, throwing stars, fly in the dark.
Blood is shed without hesitation, and the Ninjas are freely wielding
their merciless weapons in the screen. We we just caught up with the amazing
CG effects that the Wachowski Brothers had created.

予告編での美しい山岳の景色は映画の中でも非常に美しい神秘的な山でした。
そこでの忍びの長、ショー・コスギ演じるOZUNU。
迫力あるファイトシーンは非常にエキサイティングでした。

The beautiful scenery in the trailer was even more so
in the movie. Sho entered the scene as Ozunu, and gracefully showed off
his fight scenes. It was exciting!

そしてクライマックスではショーさんがファイトを披露しています。
それはもう演出からすべてにおいてカッコいいの一言です！
まさに今の映画技術で限りを尽くした、忍者！といえる作品でした。

At the climax scene, Sho fights and displays his
amazing fight scenes. From the top to bottom, it was cool!
This movie really showed what the latest technology can do with Ninjas!

ショー・コスギ、１８年ぶりの忍者映画とあって、スタッフもスクリーンでのショーさん
を観るのは初の体験です。私たちは、期待以上の興奮と感動を感じることができました。

Since it has been 18 years after the last movie Sho starred as a Ninja,
it was the first time even for the staffs to watch him on the screen.
We were excited than we'd expected we would be!

その後、外を歩いているとお寺で門番の交代式を行なっていました。
Later, we saw "changing of the guard ceremony"near the temple.

Isn't Korean traditional clothing nice?

「NINJA ASSASSIN」、まだ見れていない皆様のためにも、日本公開が待ち遠しいです。
公開されたときにはぜひ、皆様のコメントもお聞きしたいものです！

For those who has not seen the movie yet, we're hoping for the release
in Japan as early as possible. When you do get to watch the film, we certainly
would love to hear from everyone on how they thought about it.
